Cali has had a great deal of success on Radio Disney, in the US charts and in the CCM market. A couple of years ago she was advised to change her stage name back to her birth name, Callan Lane, which she has now trademarked. That probably tells you all you need to know about this chirpy blonde youngster from the USA. This six-track EP, released in 2008, includes a cover of Madonna's "Holiday" (not as good as the original, but passable), as well as versions of "Carol Of The Bells", "Let It Snow" and the title track. They're all fairly predictable pop reworking of well known songs, well produced and competently sung, aimed squarely at the teen and pre-teen market, and, in truth, there's nothing here to mark the album out from the myriad other Christmas CDs that have appeared over the years.
