Kind of a "greatest nearly-hits" compilation from Greene's previous albums. Buddy handles vocals, guitar and harmonica competently and displays con­siderable expertise on the harmonica instrumentals. Souped-up versions of traditional gospel songs work well and BG's original songs are charged with energy and sharp awareness of current contemporary country trends; even a little country rap on "He Is". The album's packed with the best skills of a whole posse of superb musicians, eg, Sam Bush, Stuart Duncan, Don Potter and classy backing vocalists such as Karen Sta-ley and Ashley Cleveland. Country music's nothing to be ashamed of these days and this is a choice speci­men. Get your brand on this one
