Here's a Christian brave and talented enough to earn his keep in the common-or-garden normal music scene. You should check him out just 'cos you ought to be aware of this superb talent. Fine guitar player, first rate singer/songwriter, his songs carry the aching wistfulness that goes along with struggles in fragile relationships and carry the sensitivity and skill needed to communicate truth about life's experiences. Some songs are inspired by books and films, one outstanding track is "Won't You Meet Me?" written for Mark Heard. "Written while he lay in the hospital, wondering how it will turn out for him". So fans of Mark's should check it out, as they say, just for this track. But it's all rich quality and while his lyrics contain very little "gospel", they will feed and nourish you very pleasingly "Promises Revisited" and "Navigator" are splendid solo guitar tracks. A wonderful album.
