There are two main positives about this 11 track collection. Firstly, the wide variety, with everything from solo piano with solo vocal to rap and pseudo reggae. Secondly, the two instrumentals, which display deft musicianship. Sadly the negatives are massed against them: the production is distinctly dodgy, regularly over-stressing the weak vocals of the artist. The content is poor, two tracks outstandingly so. "Jesus Is The Rock" is a dire anecdotal tale of a Christian nerd at a "secular" party standing up for his nerdy faith, and "God's House" is an abysmal attempt at rap, encouraging everybody to go to church because it's good for you (now there's a concept for Buster Rhymes). Toothless and insipid stuff. Partially recorded in Nashville, no less! Or should that read Naffville?
