I can still recall hearing the album title song "Do Your Heart a Favor" play on ccm radio. It was the early 80's, and I was just starting to become familiar with ccm. I really liked the song, it had a nice pop, feel good sound. Years would pass before I would find a copy of the album on tape. I immediately liked the song right after title song; "Give Me the Love"; another nice, feel good song. The whole album is worth complimenting; I gotta get a nice vinyl copy.
Wow! it's a 30 year old recording!!I still luv it!! A cd copy would be nice! GOD Bless! - Don

Two cuts from this album have held up well, IMHO...Lifeline and Lion in the Night. Wonder what happened to the guy??!
Bobby Springfield is alive and well and lives in Missoula, Montana. He went to Nashville as a 16 year old kid and, as a songwriter/producer, quickly became known as the boy veteran. He left Nashville in 1996 so he could be close to his kids in Montana.
