The veteran Christian performer, former member of '70s band Canaan, returns after a 10-year gap with a trilogy of EPs of which this is one. The six songs here are about life, the ups and downs, pain and comfort, good and bad against a backdrop of God waiting for the call to step into each situation to become part of the story. Acoustic guitar based light rock would be the label on the box, but this is music chiselled from the stone of experience, a reflection of a journey with faith as a guide and support. Bob plays most of the instruments, writes, arranges and performs the songs, bringing in a couple of friends to support him on some tracks. Bob's voice doesn't have a huge range but is easy on the ear and carries the story in the song effectively to ensure the listener gets the point as in "Something's Missing" stating you need to act so you don't get "Lost". The song "Granny's Bay" portrays a man sat on the cliff watching the tide bring rubbish in and then wash it away again and Bob uses this to consider the events of life. A song to make you think.
