The concept of giving thanks is a very strong Biblical exhortation and here presented are 17 tracks of praise and thanksgiving in a very easy and laid back manner. The opening song "Thanks" featuring Marshall Hall is very pleasant and sets the scene for most of the remaining tracks, such as "I Just Came To Praise The Lord", "Great Is Thy Faithfullness" and the title track. Standing out for me are Gordon Mote's version of the Ray Stevens big hit from many years ago "Everything Is Beautiful" and "When I Reach That Home Up There" by the classic new bluegrass band Dailey And Vincent which receives the most applause on the whole album and leads me to conclude that a couple of more livelier tracks thus breaking the mould would have improved this album considerably.
