Just as the Passion conferences in the US have become the major platform for introducing the world Church to new worship songs, so Soul Survivor has taken over that role from Spring Harvest. This album, recorded live at the Soul Survivor and Momentum celebrations is well up to standard and gives us at least two gems with the potential of impacting the worshippers around the world. "Once In Darkness", written by Luke Hellebronth, David Gate, Beth Croft, Tim Hughes and Sam Cox (does it really take five people to write a worship song?), is powerfully sung by Beth Croft and is as good an opener to a live worship project as you are likely to find. The sung fragment "Blessed (You Are Holy)" performed by Tim Hughes is equally powerful. Worship leaders Tom Field, Jamie Rodwell and Matt Redman and a couple of tight house bands all add to the atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

Soul Survivor is one of the largest gatherings of young worshippers in the UK. Each year they continue to impact the Christian journey of young people. This summer saw over 30,000 young people attend the Soul Survivor and Momentum festivals.

Soul Survivor worship leaders Beth Croft, Tom Field and Jamie Rodwell were joined by Matt Redman and Tim Hughes. Introducing the songs that they have written as a voice for the Church and songs that have impacted Soul Survivor throughout the year, the Soul Survivor album continues to be a much anticipated worship resource.

This year’s album is a double CD with the second disc featuring recordings from Momentum, the student and young adult event hosted by Soul Survivor.
