Starting life in Coventry after meeting at the renowned Nexus Academy, the band moved to Liverpool where they have become regulars on the mainstream music scene there, including their "Hello Hero" being played on the Introducing With Tom Robinso show on BBC Radio 6Music. This six-track EP has been written following upheaval and huge emotions, and this is evident throughout the songs with vivid imagery and maturity oozing out of every chord. The opener starts with a military drum beat before breaking out into a haunting, almost forlorn, guitar riff before lead singer Chris Mackrill comes in with a distinctive vocal. "Twenty Three" is a deeply personal song mourning the sudden loss of a friend and the hurt and sorrow is almost overwhelming, with the sense of loss lingering after the music has faded. The strong drums are used to great effect throughout many of the songs, especially on "Stranger To The Truth" where they are fused with strident guitar riffs and a chorus that cries out for fist-pumping, vocal-chord shredding, accompaniment as you listen along. Definitely a band to watch.
