On this CD you will find some gentle and relaxing instrumental versions of some well known worship songs such as "How Great Is Our God," "Here I Am To Worship", "Everlasting God", and the Amy Grant classic song "Thy Word". They were produced, presumably in America, with a small group assembled by multi-instrumentalist, Steve Ivey. Some people might find these enjoyable ushering in reflective still moments when they sit down for a cup of coffee. Listening to this while I was doing the washing up I found myself mouthing the words but feeling a little frustrated that I couldn't quite remember every line. In the past I have seen this type of music classed as ambient. However, unlike ambient music this album proudly boasts of using 100% "organic" instruments such as piano, acoustic guitar, violin with nothing electronic or computer generated. This is easy listening, middle-of-the-road instrumental and if that suits your tastes then you will find this to be a fairly good example of the genre.
