The title of this nine-track seasonal offering says it all in terms of its mission with tracks like the opener "The Saviour Is Born", "Reason For The Season" and "It's All About You" giving Jesus his rightful place at the centre of the festivities. Elsewhere, the likes of "The Good News" and "It's No Christmas" continue in the same vein whilst the overlong "Very Merry Christmas" puts nativity-themed lyrics to the melody of "Jingle Bells" to further claim Christmas as Christ's. There is an overriding electro pop feel to proceedings with African influences in the likes of "It's Christmas" and "Keresimes" adding some cultural diversity whilst guest appearances from the likes of Marshall Lambert, Zen and lb-Kay help to keep things varied. However, some clunky lyricism and a baffling overuse of the auto-tune function on a lot of the vocals significantly mar this well-meaning release.
