14 years after they went their separate ways, Bang! Bang! You're Dead are back in contact and ready to rock the unsuspecting suburbs of Guildford, albeit with the 'You're Dead' bit of the name left off this time. Led by Rob Russell, one-time frontman of a fondly remembered Christian band of the '80s, Press Any Key, this time Bang! Bang! say they're just back for the fun of it. And it sounds like it too. 'Living Among The Dead' is the sound of friends getting together and indulging a lifelong passion for rock and roll. Of course, with decades of playing in all kinds of bands from blues to country, they're also accomplished musicians. Cue 12 tracks of joyous classic rock, complete with big riffs and flaming solos that will profoundly embarrass their children. It's not to be taken too seriously, but I'm sure they'd be the first to say so. They don't make them like this any more.
