This soulful R&B offering is unusual what with its strong "sista girl" themes and in depth insights, however, these tend to take precedence over the quality of music that ladies (or anyone for that matter) would appreciate. Quite an immature sound on the whole that seems ignorant toward the general high quality of rap available these days. Sadly there is little in the way of creativity and what variety there is, lacks conviction and errs on the side of cheesy. Badia certainly possesses the ability to edify on a very personal and relevant level, and l think that given the honing of time, experience and maybe a new producer, that she should come good.
