This is the latest in a growing trend of house and garage records coming from New York and New Jersey with a positive, uplifting and Christian message. What comes across here is the fact that you don't have to tone down the message in the music, if the music is good. The fact is this record is both selling well on import and receiving airplay on the better house mastermix shows in London and New York. Sung in a very soulful way by vocalist Leroy Burgess, whom mid-80s clubbers may remember for his work on Salsoul Records. Available in five mixes, all remixed by house remixer Todd Terry. Head for the Freeze mix if soulful garage is your cup of tea, or the slightly more hard core Trance dance mix. There is even an acapella mix - especially for members of your church who do not accept that dance music can offer anything to Christian music - play them this version before the other versions and ask the question, 'Now if Cliff Richard sang these words. . .'
