You may remember BCH (or Boys Choir Of Harlem as they were known then) for their excellent R&B album The Sound Of Hope" (see CR25). Apparently this song is taken from a brand new album which may or may not have already been released Stateside. Three mixes plus an instrumental are included although it has to be said straight away that there doesn't appear to be any differences between the mixes whatsoever, making the record very bad on the value for money scale. Just as disappointing is the quality of the song, which manages to say nothing much in particular and at the same time having some cringe worthy choral lines. There's a good beat, but that's easy to achieve these days and there isn't much else to keep your attention. The song is morose and lacks conviction. Sorry to be blunt, but unless you want to pretend that you live in downtown New York, it's poor. Let's hope the new album is closer to the quality of the former rather than the latter.
