'Number Ones' is Sparrow Records compilation release of 12 top selling tracks covering four different albums from the earlier period of Avalon's long career as one of the best pop/vocal groups in Christian music in the USA. With "New Day" and "Everything To Me" from 'Testify To Love', itself a compilation of earlier material, "Can't Live A Day", "Always Have, Always Will" and "In Not Of" from 'In A Different Light', "Testify To Love", "Adonai" and "Reason Enough" from 'A Maze Of Grace' and finally "I Don't Want To Go", "Undeniably You", "The Glory" and "Come And Fill My Heart" from 'Oxygen' there is plenty of material here. The trademark flowing vocals and harmonies over a solid pop melody is audible everywhere and not surprisingly there are no weak songs here. A good introduction if you have not heard any Avalon before but the diehards will already have everything on offer here.
