While there are a couple of songs that whiff a little of Nashville cheese, this is still largely a set of well produced, nicely sung and finely crafted tunes being allowed to shine out. Opening track "Give It Up" and closing song "In Not Of" are tunes that are not afraid to make use of a few minor chords to give them a noticeable seriousness and intensity often missed out in pop. But there are a couple of ballads and straight-forward happy tunes too for those who like the lighter side of music; all of which had me pressing the play button a few more times than I thought I would. If you've yet to be introduced to this hugely popular team this could be a good place to start.
