Originating out of Wisconsin, USA, At The Wayside are a Christian pop/punk/rock outfit deeply influenced by bands like Blink 182. This EP is a mix of singles from their successful self-titled 2012 debut album on Red Cord Records together with some intended to bridge the gap until their second effort. "This Road" is a slice of pop with signature catchy guitar hooks and Relient K-esque vocals. "Thanks To You" is a song of worship and celebration of life and is sheer ear candy boasting a melody that will stick in your head for days while "Death And Redemption" starts with an Audio Adrenaline-esque intro and is the heaviest song here. Passionate joint leads Phil Carper and Matt Bergs are on form throughout and this set of songs offers lots of promise for the next release from a young band still finding their feet.
