Ashmont Hill are a Boston-based black vocal group with a sound near to the white Nashville pop sound of acts like 4Him and Avalon. This latest set shows the group have progressed as songwriters and artists as once again, they offer a mixture of inspirational pop songs and some skilfully produced worship material. 'Your Masterpiece' doesn't bring much new to the genre but the variation of voices, energies and the mix of uptempo worship songs, ballads and soaring pop choruses makes this an enjoyable and far from boring set. The title track provides the best example of their smooth, inspirational style and when listened to alongside the rousing opener "Around". You'll encounter a classy vocal group tailor made for US Christian radio.
