Ash Mundae are new band from the States that look set to go far. Two brothers both born on a Monday, Jeramy and Chuckie Ash name among their influences Oasis and the Verve's 'Urban Hymns'. This is gentle rock with a dash of Britpop attitude. A good mixture of melodic, dreamy music with some wonderfully ambient intros and songs with catchy hooks. These clear lyrics touch on some meaningful themes. Occasionally tongue in cheek, they talk about their faith in the midst of the doubts and difficulties of real life. Yes, just the sort of album I really enjoy. Add a little more edgy music and more of that honest song writing, guys, and next time it'll be a 10 out of 10.
