This free album from a London-based emcee deals with being enlightened by God and tackles issues that many people face today in a creative and touching way. The project showcases a few hip-hop styles, from the energetic praises on "Salute The King" and the declaratory "Power Freestyle" through to the gently rolling "Upraised" where Ash M just grooves his way effortlessly through his thanks to God. Synth-filled backing, kick drum and the vocals of Steve Myers accompany the emcee's flow as Ash M testifies to the saving power of Christ on "Bright Lights". Ash M testifies that he (and we) were "born to fly, born to touch the sky." This LP is testimony enough to that.
