A blissful worship experience constructed by a group of ministries in Singapore. A selection of songs has been chosen from a variety of writers across the spectrum of churches which makes this a truly ecumenical offering in the best sense of the word because there is a powerful coherence to the album both musically and spiritually. These worship tunes soar straight to the throne and particularly outstanding is the atmospheric reverence of "Holy Is The Lord" and the mellow powerful peace of "You Are Jehovah" which takes you through the names of God and gently reminds you the the Lord's many attributes. This is seriously middle of the road Radio 2 territory with easy listening "nice" harmonies and gentle orchestral arrangements which occasionally veer towards the sugary. If your head is thumping after an exceptionally hard day, the kids are being noisy and the dog is barking at you expectantly with a lead between its jaws, place this on the stereo, put on the headphones and climb into the comfy chair. 20 minutes of this will massage your weary soul back into shape and the world will seem a nicer place.
