Mousse T has successfully remixed this ex-Sounds Of Blackness diva in the past, and here he does it again: tasteful layers of exotic percussion, funky guitars, solid bass, memorable tunes, and a voice that takes you to Heaven and back (metaphorically speaking, of course). An extended mix and a dub are provided, but if you want a real hair-raising experience, play the acapella "Ann In Full Effect" extremely loudly in the dark! Captivating. This is just about as good as music - and hollering - gets.
