With "Calvary Song" from the Scotsman's previous 'Your Kingdom Come' album, I had high expectations of this album. They weren't dashed. In a modern worship era when for every Redman or Tomlin there are seemingly a hundred lesser talents striving to copy their sound, here is a talented songsmith bringing something fresh to the worship table. Considering my unworshipful and rather downcast mood as I tucked into a pile of review copies, this album carried out its function to lift my soul beautifully. "I was made in dust, weary is my soul" went one of the verses of "Lord of All The Earth". But there I was at the close joining with Andrew to sing "Hallelujah, praise the name of the Lord." Throughout, the arrangements which integrate piano into the standard rock guitars sound brings out the hooks, while Andrew surely possesses one of the best voices in modern worship. With several songs, including the wistful, mid-tempo title track, destined for wide church circulation, this is another fine example of the talent contained in Britain's worshipping church.
