The extraordinary Ottawa-based multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer showcases more of his unique talent on this reflective album, referencing the season itself with songs that are sometimes passionate, sometimes peaceful. Musically, it is a long, long way from the electronic instrumental sounds of the outstanding 'Droop'. Here, it's Andrew's wistful vocals which are showcased as he sings over a wide range of instruments which include ukulele, banjo, saxophone, synth and glockenspiel. "Never" seems to be a reflection about a person no longer in Andrew's life and a confessional, telling his true feelings. On the other hand, "Circles" has a completely different tone exploring how utterly different two people can be and the arguments these differences can cause. This tension in relationships can also be heard in the song "Never". All in all, this is another impressive example of the inventive music emanating from Andrew's Ottawa studio.
