Holy hip hop influenced R&B gospel and plenty of jams to keep the urban crowds happy. The strengths are a nicely relaxed soulful vocalist and plenty of edge in the programming, though there are a few production flaws to stop this reaching the dizzying heights of the Winans Phase 2 or whatever )eg. The seriously cheesy string synth on 'A Time To Dance' or one or two obvious clichés in the lyric writing). But "Prayer Groove" and "Anotha Chance" overcome the stereotypes and could well catch airplay. And I rather enjoyed the retro New Jack Swingbeat "The Potter". But despite its good points in the increasingly crowded field of R&B gospel this uneven offering is nearer Marks & could well catch airplay.
