A Dublin-based singer, Alva has had much experience in performing and now she brings her vocal talents to her debut gospel album. While the songs chosen are popular gospel pieces as well as the Christmas song "Do You Hear What I Hear" the arrangements are nothing new or particularly special, nor does Alva's voice convey much passion or add anything particularly new to these covers. The stronger tracks on this album include the strongly-sung title cut, the encouraging "Press On", and the pleasant arrangement of the classic hymn "How Great Thou Art".
