Three years since his near fatal airplane crash,Al Denson's latest release contains some of his deepest reflections on his experiences. After many operations to repair the damage, the six million dollar CCM artist reaches new heights with this release. Building a poppy sound that darkens back to his brilliant "Reasons" album, this newie has the usual perfect pop production and catchy hook lines to grab your attention. This is best illustrated by "Who'll Pray For Me" and explosive passion of "Right About Now" or the driving pop of "Love Wants Nothing". Occasionally Al steps into over sentimentality, here it's the title track, however we'll forgive him because the rest of this is brim full of those infectious tunes! Three songs stand out lyrically, "Road Less Travelled" lays out the choices that we face to walk the narrow path. This leads to "Choices" where the listener is challenged lo choose Christ. However, in the light of his miraculous recovery from his accident. "If You Believe In Miracles" is a brilliant testimony. One of Al's best friends died alongside him in the crash and the album's closer, "If You Only Knew" sounds like it was born out of that tragic experience. Lyrical depth, which doesn't shy away from difficulties, meets pop perfection and the results deserve to put Al on the map in this country.
