With the wealth of American artists it is always a thrill to get an album from a UK band to review. This five-piece worship band is based in the Bournemouth area of Dorset and use keyboard-driven rock music to put out their message about God. The line up consists of John Wright (keys and vocals), Angelina Linden (vocals) Sam Davis (guitars) Mark Pitfield (bass) and Sean Hatton (drums). 'Constantly Amazed' is a five track self-penned independent EP recorded at the nearby Basement Studio in Wimborne, Dorset. "Surrounded" kicks off with a bright progression dropping into a more laid back vocal that builds throughout. The title track starts with atmospheric pads that come to an abrupt end as the track changes into a high energy rocker while "Creation Resounds" adopts a heartbeat type of tempo, building nicely into a powerful rock ballad. "Faithful", probably the weakest track sees Angelina on lead vocals. The lyrics contain too much church wordage though another 18 months experience should hone their identity and songwriting skills.
