This album is best viewed as a Christmas compilation so do not let reviews of or thoughts about the film it is taken from colour enjoyment of the soundtrack album as they are very different things. This is predominately a pop rock outing with 1 Girl Nation open with the upbeat pop romp "Joy" followed by a skiffle rock rendition of "Christmas Time Again" by Steven Curtis Chapman. Variation is brought courtesy of Jason Crabb's soulful renditions of "Let Us Adore Him" and "Silent Night (Christ is Born)" and Casting Crowns tackling "Away In A Manger". Tenth Avenue North bring a joyful romp through "Deck The Halls" followed by the rock ballad treatment given to "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" by Matt Maher. Kerri Robert gives a virtuoso vocal performance of "O Holy Night" and the album is rounded off by Rhett Walker Band's calm and purposeful rendition of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel". All in all, a pretty good Christmas collection.
