Death Prayer: 4. Will You Have To Pray A Death Prayer?

The likelihood is that if Jesus, God’s Son, had to pray a death prayer, that some day you will too. In John 15: 20 Jesus reminds us that,

“A servant is not greater than his master”

This is not something to fear, you may have already faced situations more than once where you have had to pray a death prayer and surrender all to God. There is great power and peace in being completely surrendered to Father’s will. There is a well known quote by William Booth which says,

“The greatness of a man’s power is in the measure of his surrender.”

God desires that you are completely surrendered to Him, therefore if you want to move on in your relationship with Him you can be guaranteed that their will be some death prayers to pray along the way.
