Prayer and Worship: 3. Being Soothed
My mentor Rosa has an amazing CD that she plays sometimes (when I ask nicely) before we pray and it has a way of soothing and bringing me to a place of peace as the Holy Spirit ministers to me through it.

If you read 1 Samuel 16: 19–23 you will read that David sooths Saul with music. Sometimes all the strain and stress we feel when situations leave us with no peace, we can loose, as we ourselves begin to worship or listen to a worship CD and allow Holy Spirit to come and minister to us. It is no surprise to God that music can affect us as human beings and that is why He often ministers to us during it, but it is also a way that we can minister to Him too. Singing Him a love song is more than pleasing to His heart and it can all be classed as prayer. It is time for us to break free from the mould with our prayer lives and be creative! Worship and Prayer is one way of doing this!
