A.C.T.S: 5. S - Supplication (asking)

This part of your prayer time can be where you simply talk to your Father about the things that your heart desires.

“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your ways to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.”
Psalm 37:4-5

When we ask God for things it is a little bit like a traffic light system; Sometimes its on red – where God says stop, this is not gonna be good for you, trust me I’ve got something better. Sometimes its on amber – where God says wait a while it’ll come but I need to finish work on it, or teach you a few things before I give you that. Sometimes its on green where God says yes and gives us the things that we ask for straight away.

But no matter what, ask, ask and keep on asking. If it's in line with God you will receive it, if not, in the process of asking, He will change your heart and therefore your request. (1 John 5:14-15)
