Just as we saw in the breakdown to the Lord’s Prayer it is so essential to add “Praise” “Adoration”, and “Worship” into our times of Prayer.
The Bible says,
“I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart.”
Psalm 100
The best place to pray or talk to our Father from, is inside the house of God, not outside shouting through the letterbox. Praise and adoration are our key to the door and once inside, it is so much easier to talk face to face, than through a closed door to our abba. Adoration brings us into our Father’s presence because in the Bible it says,
“God is enthroned in the praises of His people.”
Psalm 22:3
Adoration is our pathway to intimacy, from the place that adoration takes us to, we are so much closer to our Father and it makes it so much easier to talk to Him about everything in our lives or the things that concern us.
We adore Him because He is an awesome, great, good, holy, caring, compassionate, living, worthy, majestic God. He is King, Father, Lord, sovereign, Saviour. How can we not adore Him for all He does and for all He is for us? He loves us with such an unfailing, such a majestic, such a gentle love that He is to be adored by us.
