Rev Marvin Winans returns with live worship set

THE FIRST album in five years by gospel patriarch Rev Marvin Winans is set for release in the US on 26th June. 'Marvin L Winans Presents: The Praise & Worship Experience' is released by MLW Productions, a new company whose president is Marvin Winans Jr, the reverend's son. The project was recorded at the church Rev Winans planted in 1989, Perfecting Church in Detroit, Michigan. Said Winans, "The first thing I hope people walk away with from this Experience is the joy and the presence of the Lord. I also hope people walk away more intelligent with respect to gospel music - that it's not just one genre, but a broad spectrum of praise and worship."
