Britain's Esther Alexander records Japanese album under an alias.

BRITISH singer Esther Alexander, whose 'Rhyme Or Reason' album was released by Authentic Music last year to considerable critical acclaim, has a new pop project released in Japan under an assumed name. Esther said, "The songs were not my own but I was featured as a main vocalist on the album. I have used an alias for the first time and unleashed myself on the Japanese as Zia Williams. All a bit tongue in cheek, but you can check it out at www.aosis-records.com."

In other news, the 'CafĂ© Del Mar' compilation, which will feature some tracks from Esther, is being released in January. CR
