Ooberfuse to visit the Philippines in January
BRITISH techno pop group Ooberfuse will be visiting the Philippines when Pope Francis undertakes a mercy mission to survivors of typhoon Haiyan on 17th January. The band will join forces with local musicians, who survived the deadly typhoon, in a series of concerts. Said frontwoman Cherrie Anderson, "It will be quite an emotional time. Unlike other papal events like World Youth days, which are festive up-beat celebrations, Pope Francis' purpose is to share the pain and on-going sufferings of survivors of the deadliest ever typhoon."
