One-time Prince singer Niyoki releases gospel debut

A SINGER who has previously sung back ups for Prince, Niyoki releases her debut gospel album 'My Everything' in the US on 29th August. The release on D2G Records is described as blending "infectious R&B/hip-hop grooves and soaring gospel inspiration." Said Niyoki about her album, "There are worship, traditional gospel, foot-stomping church songs and songs with an urban groove. The title cut has a jazzy vibe that I love. I love this album. More importantly, it is called 'My Everything' because the Lord is my everything."
