Second album for Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens

THE GROUP fronted by the 72 year old Naomi Shelton has released their second album on Daptone Records. 'Cold World' by Naomi Shelton & The Gospel Queens is the followup to their 2009 debut 'What Have You Done, My Brother?'. The new album is reviewed in the latest edition of Record Collector magazine who wrote, "With the Church as her main influence, she infuses everything with a fervour and passion, from the uplifting funk of 'Bound For The Promised Land' to the stirring 'Sinner' and rousing 'Get Up, Child'." CR
