Nashville pop rockers Rusty Shipp win coveted JesusFreakHideout award

A BAND, Rusty Shipp,
led by Nashville-based Russ T Shipp, have become the first independent
artist to ever win Artist Of The Year and Album Of The Year in the
2018 JFH Awards, run by the JesusFreakHideout website. A press release
said the style "combines the influences of rock legends like The
Beatles, Dick Dale and The Beach Boys with the hard hitting sounds of
modern classics like Nirvana, Thrice and Foo Fighters." Rusty Shipp have
released the single "Sinking Scarabs", the EP 'Hold Fast To Hope' and
have now issued their first full length album, 'Mortal Ghost'.
