The Alton Towers event not to take place in 2011

THE ANNUAL event held for the last 16 years at Staffordshire theme park Alton Towers, the Ultimate Event, will not take place this year. Read a statement, "Following numerous meetings and a great deal of thought and prayer, it is with regret that we announce that there will unfortunately be no Ultimate Event in 2011. The Ultimate Event team would like to thank you for your continued support of the Ultimate Event over the last 16 years. We do hope that we will be able to provide more Ultimate Events in future years. Watch this space!" CR
