BRITAIN'S first contemporary Christian music radio station, UCB Cross Rhythms was launched at the Cross Rhythms Festival in Okehampton, Devon on 10th July. Messages of support were received and broadcast from the Prime Minister, Sir Cliff Richard, Joel Edwards of Evangelical Alliance and a wide sweep of Christian music stars including Delirious?, Margaret Becker and All Star United.

The station, available on the Astra satellite Sky Sports1 Channel on 7.38 Mhz, will feature 7-day-a-week, 24-hours-a-day programming of Christian rock, pop, dance, funk, reggae, alternative and R&B.
