Steve Turner's Cliff Richard: The Biography and Amazing Grace books published.
ACCLAIMED music writer Steve Turner will be having two of his books published in the UK on 22nd April by Lion Hudson. Cliff Richard: The Biography is an updated version of the best selling biography which when first published in 1993 soared into the mainstream book charts. The new edition includes five completely new chapters covering the most recent seven years of Cliff's life.
The other Steve Turner book is Amazing Grace subtitled John Newton, Slavery And The World's Most Enduring Song which tells the story of ex-slave trader John Newton who in 1725 wrote the seminal hymn which has subsequently been recorded by such artists as Aretha Franklin, Rod Stewart, Elvis Presley and Sinead O'Connor. The book, originally published in the USA in 2002, contains an introduction by Judy Collins.
