Trinidad's Russell Leonce gets prestigious Independent Music Award

AMERICA's Independent Music Awards, held on 26th January 2010, gave its award in the Gospel category to Trinidadian-born singer Russell Leonce. His debut album 'Culture Of Love' was released in March 2009 and was produced by Cleon Richardson and Keith Kirk. Said Russell, "I was surprised. It is a good addition to all the accolades for the album and it is a reminder that this is just the start as we still have so much more to accomplish. I give thanks to God for the opportunities being created for this album." CR
