Rob Beckley of Pillar talks about changes in band

THE FRONTMAN of popular Christian rockers Pillar, Rob Beckley wrote recently about rumours that Pillar had broken up. "Technically we didn't break up. We went through a lot of things in the band with member changes and such. We did our best to keep things going, but the road does start to wear on you. For me I dealt with some things that I felt I needed to be home more. My wife was held up at gun point and car jacked and the thought of something happening to my family while I was on the road was unbearable. I was also offered the opportunity to lead worship at my church. Therefore, the timing and the emotion that was involved led me to start doing just that. I am currently a worship pastor at my church and have enjoyed it very much." Beckley is currently recording a solo album for download label Idefimusic.
