School teacher Andy Read the winner of Cross Rhythms spirit song competition

THE WINNER of Cross Rhythms Spirit Song Competition is 34-year-old primary school teacher Andy Read. The demo of his song "The Truth Will Set You Free" was judged the best of over a hundred entries to the competition run by Cross Rhythms in conjunction with top sound company Spirit. Andy will receive a Spirit Folio Lite mixer. Andy, who recorded his song in a front room studio, said he was "thrilled and amazed" with his win.

The two runner up prizes of four Spirit T-shirts are Steve Jeffery of Goring-By-Sea and Evelyn Hamilton of Glasgow.
