The singing of Staffordshire congregations to be judged in new competition.

THE SINGING ability of Staffordshire church congregations are being judged in a unique competition put together by BBC Radio Stoke and the Church Of England, Diocese Of Lichfield. The Songs From The Aisles contest will evaluate the recordings made in BBC Radio Stoke's weekly In Praise Of God programme. The four best congregations will then be chosen for a grand final at Lichfield Cathedral next summer. There will be a top prize of £500. CR
