A worship "disturbance" inspires new Lukie & The Handclaps download single
BRITISH independent Inspirational Records have released a single via iTunes and all digital stores. "Somethin' Goin' On Up There" features vocals by Elvis Chambers and is based on the experience of Inspirational's director Luke Fitzpatrick, when as a young Christian he offered his flat as a meeting place for his fellow believers and before long had 25 people in his one-bedroom flat. He said, "They were shouting and clapping and, Lord save us, even singing. Before long the neighbours were banging on the ceiling and the door to try to get them to stop, but they were making so much noise they could only hear themselves. Eventually the sound of police sirens reached them and they went to investigate what the problem was only to find it was themselves. The end result of all this was that a new venue had to be found which resulted in a new church being formed in Wembley which is called New Life Christian Centre."
