Record attendances for latest Casting Crowns US tour
CHRISTIAN music's top-selling act Casting Crowns played to more than 18,000 fans recently in the first four shows of its headlining The Altar And The Door Tour. The Grammy-winning band's opening night of the tour was on 27th September in San Antonio, Texas, to a sold-out crowd of 4,800 followed by shows in El Paso, Texas with 4,000; Phoenix, Arizona, with 5,400; and Anaheim, California, bringing in 4,200 on 30th September. San Antonio promoter Greg Carnes said, "I think this is a landmark show for San Antonio. I do not know of any Christian music concert that has sold this many tickets in the 12 plus years I have been promoting concerts."
