Rwanda's Solace Gospel Choir release album
A BRIGHTON-based musician and producer Dicken Marshall is behind a new album, 'Songs Of Solace', by the Solace Gospel Choir. Dicken founded Rafiki Records having spent much of last year building a state-of-the-art recording studio in Kigali, Rwanda, for the Kigali-based charity Solace Ministries, to allow musicians to record their work and to provide the opportunity for a sustainable income for the charity. The studio was built in partnership with Jean Gakwandi, founder-director of Solace Ministries, who are a charity that houses, clothes, feeds, educates and employs widows and orphans of the 1994 genocide and people affected by HIV and AIDS. The Solace Gospel Choir is a group of young Rwandans, primarily orphans who survived the genocide. Music has become an integral part of the choir members' healing process.

I bought the CD at Brunel Manor Christian Retreat and Holiday centre. A most wonderful CD, excellent musicianship and although I do not understand the words, there is so much peace and reconciliation as I am listening. a great spiritual experience. Is there a translation of the words into English availabe?
